Class Description:

Turn your everyday pumpkin into a piece of art to grace your home or special dinning room table for the fall holidays.  Diane will do a demo on just how easy this is and she will supply the paper goods, glue and brushes. Bring your pumpkin to the class. (White pumpkins are best as they are more like a gourd and last longer).  This will turn into a time honored family tradition for years to come.   A delight for adults with or without children.  Best for children over 8 years old.

Materials provided by students:

One pumpkin per student – white pumpkins are preferred.

Materials provided by the Instructor:

A variety of paper goods, glue and brushes. All the materials needed to embellish your pumpkin.

Artist Statement:

My work is inspired by the natural and organic formations, surface patterns and textures found all around us.  I create my abstract paintings while combining oil paint with cold wax.  The process of painting is my focus, not trying to make a specific statement, so I often begin in one place and end up in another with no idea of how I got there or how to “do it again”.
