Kathleen M. Tirrell, Instructor
Date: Tuesday, November 1st
Time 12:30 – 4:30 pm
Suitable for All Levels, All Mediums
Join us for a fun afternoon while we paint a pie and then enjoy it! This is a no stress class and all levels are welcome. It is the perfect class for someone who would like to venture into painting, and more experienced painters can try something new.
We will have a brief slideshow of pie paintings by various artists, a quick demo and then the fun begins.
All mediums are welcome, oils, acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink, etc. If you have not painted before, email me and I can give you a small, inexpensive list of supplies you will need.
We can vote on whether we want whipped cream or ice cream on the model (pie) after the paintings are done!

Art has been an important part of Kathy’s life since childhood. She painted and attended workshops while pursuing a career in the medical field. She obtained her Master’s Degree from Yale University and worked as a nurse midwife until her retirement in 2020.
Kathy recently obtained her Certificate in Painting from RISD. She is an exhibiting artist at the Providence art Club and serves on the Board of the Portsmouth Art Guild. Primarily an oil painter, she has worked in acrylics and watercolor. She enjoys painting landscapes but her current passion is still lifes. She has recently started to teach workshops and is delighted with her students’ success!
