Margie Samuels is delighted to do a one-day workshop on plein air painting for the Portsmouth Art Guild. This workshop is designed for both developing and more experienced painters. Samuels will start the day with a discussion and demonstration of the plein air scene, and then challenge each painter to create their own interpretation of the landscape. For Samuels, plein air painting is all about color and composition….which colors you choose for your painting, and how you put the pieces of your composition together. Even if you have never done plein air painting before, this workshop is for you. At the end of the day, we will finish with a final discussion and review of the paintings.
Upon registration, you will receive an informational email with a materials list.
You will receive other emails, with the location of the painting site, as it gets closer to the workshop date.
