Sketching from our Cars

December Plein Air Sundays

Join us as we meet at choice locations in the East Bay to sketch from our cars.  We will meet at various locations which afford ample parking with scenic views.

Due to the Governor’s further restrictions on gatherings, we will remain in our cars.  We can share our work at the end by holding it up to our car windows and viewing it one by one.  We can also share work and comments online.

Let’s keep Plein Air going!

  • Open to all media but the emphasis will be on sketching and drawing

  • Meets Sunday afternoons from 1:30 – 3:30.  Schedule subject to change due to weather conditions.

  • We will observe state regulations regarding masks and social distancing.

  • Fee for the entire four weeks is $12 or $5 per session.  You can pay through the DONATE button below or in person at each session.

  • Please contact for more information.   This enables us to contact you in case of any changes.

Meet at Colt State Park.  We will meet in front of the Stone Barn but you can also paint from the lot closer to the water overlooking the pond or along the road near Coggeshall Farm.
