Submission of Entries

All entries must FIRST be submitted ONLINE through Smarter Entry prior to the deadline above.

Member and Non-members may submit up to three works in any media –  paintings, drawings, photography, digital, sculpture, and ceramics and more are accepted. Please see entry fees below.

Entry Fees

Guild Members – $20.00 for the first entry and $5.00 for each additional entry. Members apply Promo Code PAGMEM.  Lifetime members use the code LFTMEM.

Non-Members, $25.00 for the first, $7.50 for each additional entry.

Entry Fees are paid online through the Smarter Entry link below.

Payment for entries is entered FIRST in Smarter Entry, followed by uploading the photographs of the piece(s).

Requirements

All artwork must be for sale.  Work may not be the product of a hands-on class or workshop.

Size must not exceed 16” per side including frame

Sculpture not to exceed 20 lbs

Prices not to exceed $300

All entries must be for sale – Gallery Sales Commission is 25% for each work sold.

For the Holiday Show ONLY: Art may be taken at time of purchases;  please provide replacement, preferably of similar size.  Work previously shown at any Portsmouth Arts Guild exhibit may be submitted.

Framing Requirements

Artwork must be professionally presented, ready to hang with D-rings and proper wiring. No sawtooth hangers, clip-on, scratched or damaged frames accepted.

Work must be labeled on the back with artist name, phone #, and title of work

Framed works on paper must be under glass or acrylic glazing

Works on stretcher bars must be properly stretched and wired for hanging

Framing is optional for gallery wrapped or cradled panels

PAG reserves the right to refuse any submission that does not meet requirements

PLEASE NOTE:
Artworks are not insured by PAG. Artists should maintain their own insurance while work is on Guild premises. Although we take the utmost care of all works submitted, PAG is not responsible for any damage incurred after drop-off. All packing material must be taken away by the artist upon drop off. PAG retains the right to reproduce images of your work for publicity for the exhibition.

By providing photographs of my art for this exhibit  I am giving the Portsmouth Arts Guild permission to use them for social media, promotions, newspapers and other media.
