Melony Poirier, Bookbinding, Portsmouth Arts Guild

Come join us for a fun workshop and create your own sketchbook.   We will be using Arches watercolor paper for our pages.  This is an intermediate class, so sign up for the Fundamentals if you are interested and haven’t taken it yet.  There is one additional Fundamentals class offered in April and space is limited for both courses.

We will create this unique, one-of-a-kind sketchbook using the Belgian Binding, aka the “secret binding”.  This binding allows for a very nice “lay flat” capability and will quickly become your favorite travel or plein air sketchbook.  Take the class to find out what the “secret” to this binding is!

All materials will be supplied.  Come enjoy a day and leaave with your favorite new sketchbook.
