Art makes a great gift!

 Our Holiday Extravaganza allows artists to submit up to 4 works and both Portsmouth Arts Guild Members and Non-Members are invited  to participate.   We want to encourage attendees to consider art as a gift and are therefore setting size and price restrictions and allowing art work previously shown at any Portsmouth Arts Guild exhibit to be resubmitted.  All media are welcome and diversity is encouraged.  Artwork in any media – paintings, drawings, photography, digital, sculpture, and ceramics and more are accepted.  This is a Non Juried show and all submissions will be accepted and displayed.  All 2-D work must be wired for hanging – NO saw-tooth hangers.  All work must be recent and for sale.  Guild commission is 25 percent. Purchaser pays costs of shipping or arranges pickup.

Restrictions: Each piece has $200 maximum price restriction and a 72″ circumference or 16″ by 20″ size restriction including matte and frame.

Entry fees:  Guild Members – $15.00 for the first entry and $2.00 each additional entry. Non-Members, $20.00 for the first, $3.00 for each additional entry.

This show will be archived on the Guild’s YouTube Channel and will be included in our website gallery.  Artists must bring work for the physical show to be included in the virtual show and website gallery.

Please follow this process to submit works for inclusion in our virtual shows:

Email photos of your artwork in jpeg format, no larger than 5MB to gallery@portsmoutharts.org.  Please include the title, dimensions, medium and selling price. Intake for the virtual show is from November 11th through November 16th.  The show will premiere on the Guild’s YouTube channel, website and various social media platforms starting the weekend of November 18th.
