This is a basic relief printing technique which is easy to learn and very versatile. Combine your printed design with stamping, drawing, stenciling or collage and have fun making cards, wall hangings, or an edition of prints suitable for framing.
About Mandy Howe
Mandy Howe is a Rhode Island artist and art teacher. A landscape painter and printmaker, her recent work combines block prints, collage and drawing in her heavily layered acrylic paintings. She focuses on local places around Aquidneck Island and continues to exhibit her paintings in many different local and regional galleries.
Mandy was the Middle School Art teacher at the Pennfield School for many years and as a RISCA Teaching Artist has run classes and workshops at many different community venues. She developed and ran a weekly art program for Adults and Out of School Youth at the Martin Luther King jr. For the Outside Art Project at the Deblois Gallery during Covid, she created a series of large mural paintings that will be installed in January at the TF Green Airport’s GREEN SPACE Gallery.
