Photography, Painting with Light
with Scott Borowy
Saturday, January 21st, 1:30 – 4:00pm
$45 Members, $60 Non-Members
This class will teach you the basics of digital photography, the settings on your camera, and how those settings affect your image. If time and weather permit, the group will have some in-the-field time to practice these settings and ask questions along the way.
To get the most out of this class, please bring a digital camera with adjustable settings.
Scott Borowy is a longtime hobbyist digital photographer. He is excited to talk about photography concepts and help others start and develop their photographic journey through his experiences.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Scott has spent more than half of his life in Rhode Island for college and work. Initially obsessed with using his digital camera to capture “technically correct” images of wildlife, he is now comfortable with the dials and settings of the camera to express his artistic vision.
He volunteers his photography skill set for local nonprofits, stays active, has the travel bug, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, and their dog Yoda.
